Cashmere Care

With love and care, you can enjoy your cashmere and wool items forever. For cleaning, we recommend professional dry cleaning or hand-washing. Please refrain from the machine wash.

Hand Washing

Fill a basin with water temperature no more than 30°C and add a decent amount of detergent.

For optimal results, use a mild detergent instead of soap or regular shampoo.

Allow the items to soak for 5-10 minutes. Then, gently hand-rub for 2-5 minutes.

Rinse the items thoroughly and carefully drain the excess water before placing them on a towel to dry.

To maintain the garment’s shape, place the wet item on the towel, roll it up, and gently squeeze out any remaining water.

Lay flat in a dry space to dry，and keep away from direct sunlight.

Storing

It is best to keep your cashmere/wool items in a dry space, using moth-proof sheets.

To keep your cashmere’s shape at its very best, we do not recommend hanging items for an extended period of time.

Remove any pilings carefully, either by hand or a lint-roller.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

How do I return or exchange an item?

We accept exchanges or returns on most items within 28 days of purchase free of charge. We do not accept returns after this period. Please contact us via support@gentleherd.com if you require an exchange or return, along with the reason.

*Final Sale Merchandise Policy- All items purchased as “FINAL SALE,”including gift cards, gifts with purchase, or discounted merchandise, cannot be returned, exchange, or credit, without exception.

Additionally, all customized or modified items are considered final sales and cannot be returned.

*If your refund is within the original order price amount, your refund will be applied to your original payment method. If your refund amount is more than the actual order price amount, please provide your Paypal account info for your refund. Please be patient as it can sometimes take several days.

Do you offer return labels?

Currently, we do not offer returns labels. However, we will refund the return fee to your original payment account once we have confirmed the returned item(s). We will update you when we have upgraded our labeling service.

When will I receive my refund?

After we receive the item back, we check the piece according to our Return Policy Approval Process. After inspection, we will notify you via Email whether or not the item qualified for a refund. If yes, the refund will be made via the original payment method within 5-7 business days.

PRICE MATCH POLICY

We do not offer a price match for purchases made during the end-of-the-year sale (October 1st – December 31st). Other than that period, we will refund the price difference for items matched within 15 days. We are confident in our ability to provide high-quality garments at affordable prices.
