Snap Rentals promo code - November 2026

Choosing the prepaid online option at checkout gives you a cheaper per-day price compared to paying at the counter. The trade-off is full upfront payment at booking time rather than on pickup day

Snap Rentals runs a mate-referral scheme where existing customers share a booking link with friends. When the referred person completes their first hire, both parties receive a credit toward a future rental. Credits are valid for 12 months from issue

Pick up in Auckland and drop off in Christchurch - or any other combination of branches - without paying a one-way relocation surcharge. Ferry crossing between islands is at your own expense, but the vehicle itself can be returned at any Snap location nationwide

Travelling on a tight budget? Present a valid student ID or recognised backpacker card (such as YHA or BBH) at pickup to receive a reduced daily rate on economy hatchbacks. Available at all NZ branch locations subject to fleet availability

If you have rented with Snap before, mention your previous booking reference when making a new reservation to unlock a repeat-customer rate. Applies to direct bookings only and cannot be stacked with other promotional codes

A portable GPS is thrown in at no cost when you hire from their premium and people-mover range. Useful if you are heading off the beaten track where mobile coverage gets patchy - think the West Coast or Central Otago

The daily rate drops the longer you keep the vehicle. Bookings of seven days or more automatically receive a reduced per-day price compared to shorter hires - no promo code needed, the discount applies at checkout based on your selected dates

Travelling with young kids? Snap Rentals provides a child safety seat at no extra cost when you book one of their larger vehicles suitable for families. Mention the age and weight of your child at the time of booking so the correct seat type is ready at pickup

Plans change - weather, ferries, flights. The flexible booking option lets you cancel or amend your reservation without penalty, provided you do so before the pickup time. Standard rate bookings may have different terms, so check which fare type you are selecting during checkout

No distance caps means you can drive from Cape Reinga to Bluff without watching the odometer. This is baked into the daily rate for all vehicle classes, so there is no per-km surcharge to worry about when you return the car

Adding a second driver normally costs extra at most rental counters, but Snap Rentals includes it at no charge across their fleet. Both drivers need to present a full licence at pickup - handy for couples or mates splitting long road trips across the North or South Island

Enjoy complimentary airport shuttle service with your Snap Rentals booking at participating airport locations across New Zealand
