MasterClass promo code - October 2026

MasterClass runs a referral scheme where existing members can share a unique link with friends. When someone signs up through your link, they receive a reduced price on their annual membership - typically a meaningful chunk off the standard rate. You may also receive account credit or an extension on your own subscription as a thank-you. Check your account dashboard for your personal referral link and current reward details

Pop your email into the MasterClass newsletter form and you'll get notified whenever new instructors are added, plus occasional promotional pricing that isn't advertised on the main site. Past promotions have included discounted gift memberships and limited-time annual plan price drops. You can unsubscribe at any time from the link in every email

Browse the MasterClass catalogue without paying a cent. Most classes have a free preview lesson - usually the opening session - that anyone can watch on the website or app. It's a good way to check whether an instructor's teaching style clicks with you before handing over any money. No account required for previews, though you will need to sign up to access the full class and workbook

You can buy a full year of MasterClass access as a gift for someone else - perfect for birthdays, graduations, or Christmas. The recipient gets an Individual annual membership with unlimited access to every class. You choose the delivery date and they receive an email with instructions to activate their account. The gift price matches the standard annual Individual rate, so you're not paying a premium for the gifting feature itself

The Family plan is the best per-person value MasterClass offers. Up to six people in your household each get their own profile with personalised recommendations and watch history. Split the cost six ways and you're paying a fraction of what an Individual membership costs per person. Ideal for families with teens studying creative writing, cooking, or business - everyone picks their own instructors and learns at their own pace

If you and a mate, partner, or flatmate both want MasterClass, the Duo plan gives each person their own account, watchlist, and progress tracking - but you share one billing. It works out significantly cheaper per person than buying two Individual memberships separately. Both users get the exact same unlimited access to all 200+ classes, downloadable workbooks, and offline viewing on mobile

MasterClass bills their plans annually by default, which works out cheaper per month than if they offered month-to-month payments at full rate. The Individual plan, Duo plan, and Family plan all follow this structure - you pay one upfront annual fee and get unlimited access to every class on the platform for 12 months. Choosing the annual route is the only billing option available, so you're automatically getting the better per-month rate without needing to opt in

Not sure if MasterClass is right for you? Every subscription - Individual, Duo, and Family - comes with a full 30-day satisfaction guarantee. If you're not happy with the content within your first month, contact support for a complete refund. No questions asked, no restocking fees. This effectively gives you a risk-free month to explore classes from Gordon Ramsay, Serena Williams, Neil Gaiman and hundreds of other instructors before committing
