Great Rail Journeys promo code - October 2026

Snag a spot on a soon-to-depart scenic rail tour at a reduced rate. Great Rail Journeys occasionally drops prices on selected itineraries with seats still available close to the travel date, so check the website's offers section regularly if you're flexible on timing and destination

Travelling with friends or extended family? Great Rail Journeys reduces the per-person price when a group books together on qualifying itineraries. The more people in your party, the better the rate - contact their team directly to discuss group numbers and which departures are eligible

Join the Great Rail Journeys mailing list and you'll receive advance notice of new tour releases, flash sales, and subscriber-only pricing on selected departures before they're advertised publicly. Handy if you want first dibs on sought-after scenic routes around New Zealand and beyond

Book your rail holiday well ahead of the travel date and pay less than the standard fare on chosen itineraries. The earlier you lock in your trip, the bigger the reduction - ideal for popular routes that tend to fill up months in advance. Look for tours marked with an early booking indicator on the Great Rail Journeys website
